This is my first attempt at the Ballband Dishcloth from Mason-Dixon Knitting.



May I say that I love that book? I don't normally purchase hardback books because of the cost but this one was a must have. There is just too much stuff in there I MUST knit! I went to Commuknity this weekend just to get yarn for the things in there I want to knit. This was the first project. I have enough yarn to make one more but next I think I will tackle one of the linen hand towels (ok, first socks, now hand towels...things I never imagined myself knitting. It is these darned knitting writer types, convincing me to knit such things, I blame them!).

Here is my latest purse, which I have been using quite a lot lately.


And my sister's second sock. Now working on the foot!
