Mittens Complete

The title says it all! The mittens were completed today and I still have enough yarn leftover to fix the matching hat, which somehow acquired a hole.

I have joined my first knitalong! It is the Cascade Fixation sock KAL. I cast on and started knitting but forgot to account for the stretch of Fixation. So, I frogged and will remeasure my swatch with it more stretched out. These socks are going to be for me. While I like to knit with wool I can't actually wear it (itchy) so these socks will work well for me. I am using teal colored Fixation. They will be perfect for hockey season.

I am also itching to cast on a dishcloth. If I do that I will officially have: Too Many Things On needles! Hmm, let's take inventory:

Aida's Armwarmers (really MUST finish those)
Sophie Purse (no hurry there)
Moss Grid Hand Towel
Hat that needs repairing
Fixation Socks

Well, that is just five things. Not as bad as I had thought. But a dishcloth will make six things. Is that officially too many?

I just did a spell check. I stuck a K in front of "needles." I think I may have crossed over into Knitting-too-much-land.
